History 

Little Rhody Machine Repair Inc was incorporated in 1963 by Mr. George E. Hostetler.

In those days, 1963 – 1998, we were known as Little Rhody Machine and Electric Company Inc.  In 1984, George’s daughter, Anita Weikman, purchased and continued to operate the business, succeeding in employing expert mechanics, welders and machinists, accomplishing many customer maintenance nightmares. The name was changed to Little Rhody Machine Repair Inc. to better explain the actual business activities. Her husband, Ed, completed 23 years in the Navy, as a Construction Equipment Mechanic, and joined her in running the business, helping to service the acquired State and Federal contract business. In 2005, the company moved to their new “owned” home at 7 Alice Street in Coventry, RI.

Little Rhody Machine Repair Inc. has always been a full service industrial maintenance service provider.  In fact, many of our customers refer to us as the “The One-Stop Repair Shop”, making reference to our all inclusive maintenance services; trouble shooting, component disassembly & reassembly, machining, welding and preventative maintenance.
